What is Provided

  • Five quarterly 2-day retreats with professional, seasoned facilitators with monthly connection throughout the one-year program
  • Refreshments and meals both Monday and Tuesday
  • Five teaching sessions at each retreat
  • Group Spiritual Direction with six or fewer members who remain together through the one-year experience
  • Fixed-hour prayer worship experiences in community: morning and night, with liturgies and resources to use in own setting
  • Retreat materials (excluding books)
  • A 90-Day Practice Journal
  • Note-taking Journal with appropriate quotes to be used at each of the five retreats
  • Monthly Practices to integrate learning
  • Prayerful, written feedback on reflection paper assignments
  • Quarterly assignments that provide reading assignments, written reflections and guidance for practicing spiritual disciplines personally and in community
  • Additional spiritual formation book/web resource list. Not required but very helpful
  • Guidance for meeting with a spiritual friend/spiritual director in-between retreats
  • Final project that guides student in the process of articulating a personal Rule of Life
  • Certificate of Completion for those meeting requirements of completion
  • OPTIONAL: CEU certificate is available upon completion of all requirements
